“Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.” Phillipians 4:6
This verse came up today on my Bible app as the verse of the day + at first I was just like “Oh I know that one.” You know how when you’ve heard something 1,000 times so you start to become blind to it’s meaning? That’s how I felt about Phillipians 4:6. But then, I reread the verse and realized how applicable it is to my life right now. I just love how Jesus meets us where we are and gives us exactly what we need even if we aren’t looking. Lately I’ve had so much homework + I keep thinking “Isn’t the beginning of the semester supposed to be easy?” I’ve been putting too much on my plate + thinking that somehow I can do it all on my own. I’ve been so stressed out + a lot of times I don’t even think to give up my worries to the Lord. A lot of times I expect myself to be perfect all of the time, but that’s why I need Jesus. He did’t come because I am perfect, he came because I am broken. I find it super encouraging that though I may be extremely busy with life + schoolwork, I am not alone. You’re not alone either! I hope you could find this a little encouraging!
